Common topics of interest include: • what is epilepsy?; • types of seizures; • first aid; • common treatments used; • how the condition is diagnosed; and • living with epilepsy. Information and referrals are provided to those seeking other forms of assistance or services outside of Epilepsy York Region, such as employment counseling. We put forth efforts in connecting clients to other organizations, agencies or resources that can further assist them with their personal needs whether it is physical, emotional, psychological or financial.
