EPILEPSY YORK REGION is a charitable organization which:
•
Advocates on behalf of individuals with seizure disorders;
•
Promotes public awareness of epilepsy and seizure disorders;
•
Develops programs based on the needs of our constituents; and
•
Provides educational resources and opportunities.
Epilepsy York Region is a non-profit, community-based multi-service
agency. Founded in 1988, it now provides support, education and
advocacy to an estimated 7,300 to 14,600 people with epilepsy and their
families in York Region.

Epilepsy York Region is pleased to
announce CAMP EYR, a summer
day camp for children with epilepsy
and their siblings. The camp will be
held on the grounds of the Loyal
True Blue and Orange Home in
Richmond Hill for two weeks, from
July 8th to 12th and July 15th to
18th. The cost will be $50 per
week for members’ families and
$100 per week for non-members.

The PENMORE FINANCIAL Child
and Youth with Epilepsy Awards
are available to youth (up to 18
years of age) with epilepsy to
assist them in participating in
sports, recreational or cultural
activities that will enhance their
development as individuals. The
awards, which range from $250-
$750 are available in three age
categories: 6-10 years, 11-14
years and 15-17 years.
